so I've started making pattern #26521 and I found that after the first moon, the rest get clumpy?? not the best word to describe it but I can sort of pop them back and forth. it's like really hard to explain. it might be a tension issue? am I tying knots too tightly?

I think your knots are a little to tight but I don’t like alphas so I’m probably not the best person to help

Do you mean it's a bit bumpy? If so, then yes you may be tying a little too tight. Also, how are you making the colour change? If you're not already, try doing the 'Flat Alpha Technique' (Masha Knots has a tutorial on this), that will help with the 'bumpiness'. Also make sure you are putting the new colour over the old colour, and not under it.

so I've been following her tutorial in changing out the colours and the flat edge technique with the back forward or forward back knots on either side and it might be because of im a little too eager to finish the bracelet. I'll probably rewatch the videos on those topics and yes I do mean that its clumpy

Make sure to not pull the loose thread in the back of the bracelet too tight!

Just keep making your alphas! I recently started making them myself, and my first few patterns turned out a bit wonky. Practice makes progress!
