I was wondering if someone who does lots of alphas could answer some concerns i have about them. I have only worked with alphas that have two colors at a time, and i decided to make pattern # . However, some knots are huge and some are tiny/getting covered up by bigger knots. I am a beginner and more of a normal bracelet person, so did i just pick a pattern that was too advanced for my skill level or am i doing something wrong? (also, i hope to post a photo when i am done with it, so maybe eventually you can see what i mean)
Thank you!!!

practicing a lot will help you!!
Also, if you use good quality thread it will help you make your knots the same size and practicing will help you find the right tension of the knots so that they look very good.
It is probably a beginner's problem and with time and practice it will be fixed!!
Other tips to make your alphas look better is to use the flat alpha technique and the straight edge technique!!!
Maybe if you upload a photo I can see it and give you more tips!

Are all the strings you use the same kind? This should help you make the knots the same size.
