My eyes may be wonky, my fingers may be arthritic, my memory skills are poor, but I still wanted to learn how to make friendship bracelets, even though I am getting on in years (not going to say how many, LOL 😲 ). My 3rd, 4th and 5th attempts may not be perfect, but they are certainly better than the first two.I am loving making them and I am using Masha Knots tutorials to help me learn as well as reading all the tutorials on here. I do love the arrowhead bracelet, I have even memorised the pattern now! |

@rolsknots I rekindled my bracelet knotting hobby from my middle-high school days (I won’t say what decades) by teaching my daughter, and it’s now a soothing, mostly-non-screen activity for ME, too. Kudos to you for doing alphas! I’ll tie just about any normal, but my first attempts at alphas were more frustrating than calming, for me. Maybe someday?

Thanks @Nebula_12 I am glad to see others here of all ages, it is a great hobby and there are so many possibilities - I am agog at how many different patterns there are nowadays, we will never run out of ideas! Oh, I haven't tried alphas yet, normals are challenging enough currently, but one day soon, I will give alphas a go! I am sure you will be able to do them too, they do look like a lot of fun. 🙂
