unfair challenges

I have a problem that has happened to me several times (I'm not going to say with whom) but I joined some challenges and when I finished it, the person who was hosting the challenge announced the winners and by chance they were the true "friends" according to the bio says (I mean that the people really knew each other in the two cases that happened to me) and it seems a little unfair to me because when looking at the photo other people deserved to win more because the creations of those who won were more untidy than others and It was not a SUPER good pattern for the theme like others who had made other creations... so if you want to do a challenge with your friends and for your friends to win, I recommend that you do it elsewhere or in real life and not that be unfair here... 🙁
Has anyone else noticed this?? 🤔

I have not noticed it before, but I've seen people complain about something else regarding the challenges: some users hosting challenges but then never announcing winners in the end. That also seems really annoying.

I don't think there is much to be done against people being biased. Maybe before joining a challenge, you can check a person's profile to see, if they mention friends or you could check their previous challenges. Or you could only join challenges by people who you are familiar with.

This does not fit in "newbies" btw. You are not new and the question does not relate to being new in any way. Please try to post into the correct section of the forum. This way the forum stays more organised.

I don't participate in challenges very often, but I believe that it's a possibility. The main issue with it is that there's no way to objectively prove that they're unfair. Challenge hosts choose winners by their personal preference, so they can just say it's their opinion that those submissions are better and that it's a coincidence about the winners being their friends.
So I believe the best thing you can do if you really believe someone is biased is to simply boycott their challenges in the future because calling it out wouldn't resolve anything.

@itarosky Yes, but more than the other in one case it was obvious that he won by being his friend because the pattern and several other details were very messy and not so understandable and other people had done it amazingly and they did not have a place 😢 and it's very unfair to me that people join to challenges and they do GREAT and other person wins with a not super good gob 😢 .
@halokiwi sorry! I didn't know whether to put it in newbies or site and app but it seemed to me that it didn't fit very well in site and app, sorry! anyways thank you

There is a forum thread for "stuff that doesn't fit into any other thread." 😉

I agree that it would not have really fit into "site and app". Luckily there are more than two forum threads 😄

@halokiwi thank you! I decided not to put it in "other" because people put stuff more of community than problems and I supuse that people aren't going to reply a lot in other...
but I now that it supuse to be things like this but people use it more like a community 2 forum when they already have a community forum... 🤨
