That may be because your knot tension is too tight. When making alphas, try loosening your knot tension to not only help fix your issue, but to make the design appear more uniform and not “stretched” looking.

You might be pulling your loose leading strings too tight. You can relieve some tension by cutting them.

when you switch colors across the back you might be pulling the string across too tight and then tying the knot which can make the string pull on the side of the bracelet causing it to curl up. sorry if this doesn’t make sense 😭😭
