sometimes I see patterns where the strings at the end aren't in the same order as they were in the beginning. I also saw some comments calling those interchangeable patterns, but I couldn't figure out how to make them. I'm getting to the end and then all my string are messing up when trying to repeat. do you have any tips/tutorials?thanks! examples: https://www.braceletbook.com/variations/normal/21013/ https://www.braceletbook.com/patterns/normal/15755/ https://www.braceletbook.com/patterns/normal/15386/ |

When you get to the bottom of these patterns, you still follow the pattern (do the exact same knots) but ignoring the colour of the strings.

The strings are in a different order but you still do the exact same knots as before. You just start again from row 1 and do the knots the pattern says but the colours are different. You just ignore the colours. If it's easier for you you can also manually copy the pattern into the pattern generator and repeat it as many times as you need until the strings match up again. You can't post that pattern because it already exists but you can use it for yourself. Patterns like that are no longer getting accepted because some people have trouble doing them so in the future you shouldn't have as many troubles with them. |
