hi there, i have a dilemma.
there are many patterns that i find freely available on pinterest or other sites that i want to make, but these patterns are not here.
a lot of people reupload the same pattern, and in most cases it is impossible to find an original author.
so my question is - can i add the patterns i like here, but with the indication in the comments that i am not the author and all credits goes to whoever made the original pattern?
i don't want to assume authorship and i don't want to get banned, but i really want to make some bracelets/wallhangings and post photos of them here..

You can only publish patterns that are your own or that you have permission to share from the original creator. If you can't find the original creator, you shouldn't share the pattern, because they might not agree with you sharing it.

It is also important that when you do give credit it is not to some un-named creator but to state who the creator was. Something like "credit to the original creator" is not really credit.
