Maybe using thicker thread helps a lot!! But if you don't have another type of thread, maybe you can use several base threads, like 3 or 4 per base thread and there it will be a little stretched on the sides but it will be bigger!

@pulserasAG I have craft thread, embroidery floss, and I just bought some crochet thread in size 3 but I still want something thicker 🙁 I’ll try out adding strings to the leading and base strings. Thank you!
