I use embroidery floss to make my bracelets but it never turns out symmetrical and looks sloppy...I tried craft cord and it's way better but seems like color options are limited....any suggestions for what to use?

if the strings youre using are all the same size, the issue could be that youre tying your knots at different tightnesses. i use embroidery string, and i found that when i tied my knots more loosely they became more even and i was able to make diamond bracelets without squishing the diamond

While craft cord colors are a bit more limited, there are a couple brands with a decent selection threadship, jp&coats, and loops and threads to name a few. I agree craft cord is easier to work with but I find that it can be more fragile than embroidery thread and I’ve had issues with strings breaking off so I prefer embroidery thread but it’s up to you. Also keep in mind that different brands have differing thickness so it’s best to use the same brand together for consistent knots. Some people also use crochet thread as well but I’ve never personally had experience with it
