is the rule about use same thickness threads works for base strings in alphas? bought some really thin thread (pretty much looks just like sewing one, but was packed as embroidery) and i dunno where i can use them :[

For alphas, I use double thickness for base strings, s you'd need a lot of sewing thread to get to that point :/

You don't need to use the same thickness for the base strings that you use for the leading strings, but I recommend using thicker base strings rather than thinner base strings.
