how do i get my alpha to look nice and not like a knot-ey rug???

I have just started making alphas and i have had lots of fun making them but how do I make them look tighter. Does tying a knot tighter help with this?!p.s I am sorry I cant really explain things well 🙁 |

You don’t have any alpha pictures on your account or anything so taking a guess, yes, probably tying tighter will make it look tighter. Also pay attention to the first half of each of your knots. That will help position your knots- don’t make the second half until that sucker is pulled right up close where you want it to be!

Masha knots explains in a few videos that if you do forward-backward and backward-forward knots on your edges you will get nicer edges. Idk if that helps but it helps me. Otherwise, just tie your knots tight but not right enough to break your string.
