just got a 100 pack of random embroidery thread of amazon but ran out of black and white a few days ago because i like to use that a lot, tried searching for it on amazon but i can only find expensive ones that give you like 16 meter white and 16 meter black for 10 euros which i mean, i don’t really need any better quality and i got 800 meter of basically any colour for the same amount of money so where can i get it for cheap?

I can find plenty of results for black and white embroidery floss that don't seem too expensive on Amazon, so I think it highly depends on which country you're in what's available to you. What requirements do you have in regards to the price? What materials do you like (cotton or synthetic)? Is a brand name important to you or can it just be any brand? |

There are online places to bulk buy; EBay has large packs of just black, white or both. Amazon may also sell just these?

If Amazon isn’t an affordable option where you are, do you have any discount stores in your area? Like dollar store, dollarama, dollar general etc (or any equivalent to where you are). It’ll be harder to get a pack of just black and white and probably more expensive than getting assorted packs from discount stores. Or maybe Facebook marketplace? Also “craft thread/ craft cord” is slightly cheaper than embroidery floss but works for bracelets as well (only thing is it snaps easier/slightly lower quality imo)

Which country are you in? If you don't feel comfortable giving this information, maybe you could at least give the rough area of Europe that you are in. You're in Europe, right?

@OwlEyes247 I didn't see your reply to this earlier, but one big hint I can give, if you have questions, is to start your own forum topic or reply to a forum topic that is about a similar question. This way more people will see your question 😄

If you don't manage to find an affordable brand of embroidery floss, alternatively you could use crochet thread of a similar thickness. You can buy it in big balls that will last you a long time. But if you do that, I would recommend that you don't combine the crochet thread with embroidery floss in normals or as leading strings in alphas. You can for example use dmc petra size 5: https://www.dmc.com/DE/de/products/petra-yarn Here are some results for black and white embroidery floss I found on amazon. Not sure, if these are available in your country: https://www.amazon.de/Peirich-Schwarz-Wei%C3%9F-Str%C3%A4nge-Kreuzstichf%C3%A4den-Freundschaftsb%C3%A4nder-Zahnseide/dp/B08GLQ26FV/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?__mk_de_DE=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&crid=U1BRCJDD79VS&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.ZJ-NBAWiyZe5fTrwbGcCClwm-x_KzDBFzqhOFXxLkx8Dd2H1S-rDxJZbh3CPgZEerSpkui0t51JkT2R4oFzP3u8OoM9TsOCch5OrHdTlqS4IX82MezEblfcf3xik9ArRo5YICkECiuThYdwus11cGRdyH9_UFvDqaXwBUuMIMsfE5T9h15BUJU3rBLSxclvdnLvoeAPO_MQ4t4Y6nkdQpshVT4HyJMhSEq8Ca_rvIoSXPWBdLxmFrXyG8Z7p_HiJZTDOlqF3_Yzw1ZKwSESunLO0veaLbxnMPZxKt8Fy0uk.2QNjfrA08ZuCnsEP7Km31fkeePrhHa2xtErTyRNxpwE&dib_tag=se&keywords=embroidery+floss+black+and+white&qid=1729430941&sprefix=embroidery+floss+black+and+white%2Caps%2C148&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1 https://www.amazon.de/Stickgarne-Stickseide-Kreuzstichgarn-Handarbeitsgarn-Freundschaftsarmb%C3%A4nder/dp/B08X6TD9CD/ref=sr_1_4?__mk_de_DE=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&crid=U1BRCJDD79VS&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.ZJ-NBAWiyZe5fTrwbGcCClwm-x_KzDBFzqhOFXxLkx8Dd2H1S-rDxJZbh3CPgZEerSpkui0t51JkT2R4oFzP3u8OoM9TsOCch5OrHdTlqS4IX82MezEblfcf3xik9ArRo5YICkECiuThYdwus11cGRdyH9_UFvDqaXwBUuMIMsfE5T9h15BUJU3rBLSxclvdnLvoeAPO_MQ4t4Y6nkdQpshVT4HyJMhSEq8Ca_rvIoSXPWBdLxmFrXyG8Z7p_HiJZTDOlqF3_Yzw1ZKwSESunLO0veaLbxnMPZxKt8Fy0uk.2QNjfrA08ZuCnsEP7Km31fkeePrhHa2xtErTyRNxpwE&dib_tag=se&keywords=embroidery+floss+black+and+white&qid=1729430989&sprefix=embroidery+floss+black+and+white%2Caps%2C148&sr=8-4 Not sure, how good the quality is for those, but they definitely seem to be affordable. |
