Looking for good string sets with many colors but i dont want to buy another one of those kits because of all of the plastic and they come with so much extra unneeded stuff 😔

If you want apcks with a variety of colors with multiple skeins of the same shade I would recommend Loops and Threads brand from Michael's.

I use dmc thread it can be pricey but if your lucky you can find it on market place

I would definitely look around your local craft/fabric stores! I like to buy Anchor brand -- it's a bit thinner/kind of a different weight than dmc but it comes on spools (less tangles!) and tends to run cheaper than dmc 🙂
