Hey where do you guys buy pastel colored thread (that’s preferably affordable)? DMC has some but it’s kinda pricey and i like to buy more in bulk so I can refill colors (the pack I found had only one of each color)

Maybe this? It's cheaper than their regular embroidery floss:https://www.dmc.com/DE/de/products/pack-of-36-stranded-thread-skeins-pastel-colors (36 skeins for 12,20€, not sure how many colours, but I think it's probably 12 colours, so 3 of each colour, black and white are also included, it does not look super pastely to me) https://www.rico-design.com/stickgarn-set-pastell-10teilig (10 skeins for 4,79€, one of each colour) https://www.rico-design.com/stickgarn-set-ice-cream-10teilig (A similar set with ice cream colours (also seem pastely), 10 skeins for 4,99€, one of each colour) https://www.rico-design.com/stickgarn-set-multicolour-pastell-24teilig (24 skeins: one of each colour, two white and two black, 12,99€) But I think in the USA there are much more affordable options than there are here in Germany. |

I would suggest Loops and Threads brand from Michaels and specifically the pastels pack. Loops and threads comes with a few skeins of each shade and a variety of shades with color codes so you can replace them as you use them.

yes, loops & threads is probably your best bet. its only $5 for 36 skeins and they repeat colors-like 2-3 skeins per color.
