How do i get those really straight edges when making alpha patterns? btw i normally use the straight edge alpha technique. even then my edges are super wonky.

Are you using strings by the same brand? Different brands can produce slightly differently sized knots which can cause wonky edges. If you have long leading strings spanning in the back, you can cut them to release some tension, if they are pulling on the bracelet. And last but not least: practice! |

My leading strings are usually of the same thickness but my base strings are thinner. Could that lead to wonky edges?

No, that's likely not the cause, but I recommend thicker base strings rather than thinner base strings. This could help, if you are struggling with your designs appearing elongated.

Ok, will work on that. But what do you mean about long leading strings spanning in the back? I'm unsure.
