To edit the default pattern, I recommend to go to 'interactive normal' or 'draw alpha' (depending on which generator you're in). Make the changes you want to make and click 'save'. Then you go back to the first page of the generator, add keywords, tick the box next to 'share rights' and submit the pattern.
