it depends, on here you can find some math formula’s on how long exactly your string should be if thats what your looking forit also depends on how long you want your bracelet to be, a female wrist is roughly 7 inches while a male one is around 8 inches i usually just kinda wrap it 4,5 times around my ruler to be honest which for me is 53 inches which is enough for what i want in terms of lenght you should also make some strings longer when its obvious in the pattern. If you were to make a daisy chain for example you would need a lot less for the yellow bit on the inside then the colours you choose on the outside |

For a bracelet that uses all the strings equally, I use 80-85cm. That's about half my wingspan

For normal patterns I recommend doing the length of your wingspan. For alpha base strings I recommend doing length of elbow to finger tip times 2.
