So I want to post pictures of all my bracelets because I spend a lot of time making them, but everybody else’s look so good and I know I can’t compete with them so I just end up not posting them. Does anyone else feel this way and does anybody have tips on what I can do to either build confidence with posting my pictures? Thanks!

I feel this way too. Mostly one thing I notice a lot is lighting. Also the background so if it blends in or the background is too “busy” then that takes away from the picture. I’m obviously not an expert at this but I hope it helps 💜

Honestly I’m sure if you looks through everyone’s pics, there’s bound to be “not so good ones” towards the bottom (myself included) so don’t be afraid to post all your pics and it’s actually fun to see yourself improve with time 😊 I feel like i’ve improved and if i have doubt or whatever I just look at my first pics and my last pic and remind myself how much I’ve improved. So don’t be afraid to post pics you’re not sure of! No one’s going to judge, and just keep checking for improvement! Hope this helps! 🩵

@Math_ilde To add a picture, find the pattern and on the top banner with the pattern # you should see 5 stars where you would rate the pattern and just to the right of that will be a link with a camera icon saying "add a photo". From there you can upload your photo to the website for the moderators to accept. I hope this helps! 🙂 |

Honestly the composition and stuff of my photos sucks! But I post pictures to show that hey look I did it! And to show others what their awesome bracelets could look like. Plus whenever someone loves/stars/interacts with nay of my patterns it makes me super giddy! And when people deem it worthy enough to put time and effort into making a bracelet of?!?!?! They could take their photo using the first camera ever and I would still be so grateful and cherish it.I don't think this is a very judgemental community, we all love bracelets and want to help others make more! So go post your terrible photos and mine will be up along side yours. Also I love looking through the photos section and seeing what amazing things people have done so keep filling it, I honestly think some of my beginning bracelets look trash now but I was still learning and I will never look at the bracelet of someone who is clearly still pretty new (or just bad at camera work like me xd) and think ew or something/ They made art and it looks amazing so who am I to judge? |

for me its easy to do some light editing to my pictures.(i do this with everything i take pictures of) in my camera app i raise the brightness and up the contrast(EVER SO SLIGHTLY) so the if the picture is low in quality it looks higher in quality. i use a samsung so i dont know what to do for iphones. i also have a 5 dollar phone light form walmart that i bought 5 years ago. it sucks but it works!!!
