I saw a carebear pattern and i fell in love with it and wanted to make similar but with other bears. I cant just add a variation because they have different symbols and i just made a ton using the template of the bear but added the proper symbols for them, like cloud, sun etc. I messaged the original creator if i can do this but its been a year and they havent replied and i wonder if its okay if i publish it or not, giving them somehow credit?

Some users are strictly against their works being republished, so I say, if you don't have a reply, you shouldn't do it. What you could do instead is change your bear base up a bit to make it more different. |

If it is similar enough you might be able to post images of things you make with your patterns to the original pattern
