Depends on the pattern. About 90cm in a normal pattern, if all strings are used equally.

This is how I do it:
For alphas ~ 12 rows=about 1 in/2.5 cm. I round to the next 12 to be safe. (ex: if I have 43 rows, I round to 48 for 4 inches) Then I double it for the length of one string. If you’re starting with a loop, then you’ll have to double it again.
For normals ~ I follow the tutorial by @halokiwi: https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/173_how-to-calculate-string-length-in-a-normal-pattern/
