Hi All,

I want to make a pattern like this https://www.braceletbook.com/photos/?pattern-id=4015.

But, I do not want to make it as alpha. I was thinking of adding the base strings of gray color and knot black over them. When its time t make the color switch, I will just switch the base string and the color string. But when I do this, the knot is a bit lower that the previous knot.

How can I fix this?

In this technique, the knots of the second colour are made by knotting onto the leading string with your base strings.
