I'm doing the same color for 'D' in pattern 3884950 so should I do the right left knots at row 5 or just continue doing left knots?

sorry if this is a stupid question
thanks!

Pattern #3884950 does not exist.

Did you by any chance click 'add a variation' and this is the number it shows you in 'edit pattern x'?

If this is the case, what does it say in the box that say 'This pattern already exists as #x, but you can tweak the colors and add it as its variation.'?
This should be the correct pattern number.

did you mean you are doing the same color for D and E? if so you do not have to do left-right knots you can do whatever knots you want. In any normal pattern, if you are tying a knot with two strings of the same color, you can do any knot you want, right, left, right-left, or left-right. (on this site you might hear people call right knots forward knots and left knots backward knots btw) I hope this wasn't to confusing lol 😅

How do I rank up?
Our ranking system is automatic, and it takes a lot of parameters into account. You can rank up even by just using the website, but if you'd like to make it quicker, definitely try adding some valuable content to the site, and helping out the community. Those are definitely things that will help you rank up a lot faster.

@mmb1717

The string might be low quality, you might be pulling too tight or the strings might be rubbing against each other a lot while tying. There are many possible reasons.

In the future I recommend that you start your own topic, if you have a question unrelated to the original question.
