Hi, Iโ€™ve made a few alphas with the flat alpha technique, but whenever I switch colors, the knot after the switch always has a little bit of the last leading string poking out of it. Idk if itโ€™s an experience thing or Iโ€™m missing something, but Iโ€™m not sure what to do. Is there any way to fix this? ๐Ÿ˜Š

This isn't always entirely avoidable but here's video from Masha Knots with some great tips for making alpha bracelets. She covers the issue you're describing under "Coloir Switching" https://youtu.be/Q-UWqtTxWls?si=_V9dF1z6iFijnmsO

What you would do basically is pull the last leading string down a bit. Don't pull too hard and hold tension on the new leading string and the base string while pulling.
