Why does every time I try to make a new pattern (normal pattern) it show me that there is an error? Like even if I still didn't finish the pattern and I have to repeat it once again, and it keeps going. What can I do? Is it me doing it wrong or it's with the site? I have no idea, someone help me 😭

Are there warnings there that you don't know how to fix? If yes, I wrote this tutorial on how to fix them: https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/140_normal-pattern-warnings-and-how-to-fix-them/ It's for normal patterns, but lots of these apply to alphas as well. Let me know, if you are struggling with a warning that I did not explain. |

Do you want to create an alpha pattern or a normal pattern? For normals I recommend the interactive generator. |

You can try drawing the pattern on graph paper instead. Sometimes it is easier to plan out a pattern like that.Normal patterns are complex. It takes a while until you get a feeling for designing them. I recommend just experimenting a little. |

I saw on another topic that you were trying to create a dino pattern. Are you trying to create a normal dino pattern? For the beginning I really recommend doing something more abstract. You could also try creating a 1212 pattern. You put the strings in the order abababababab... and only use fb and bf knots. This way you can create very complex images. |

The thing is when I try to make a simple design (coz I gave up on making a dino) it’s not even good looking it always looks like something is missing

It takes time and even a simple design can be valuable. My patterns did not look very good when I started either. It's normal.
