I’m interested in selling some of my bracelets but I’m not super sure where to start. Right now I’m focused on actually making them, but when I get to that point..What’s a reasonable price to sell bracelets for? I usually make them less than 20 strings on average if that makes a difference. |

Personally I think it makes sense to price based on time spent and material cost.Bracelet making takes a lot of time and not everyone who sells bracelets pays themselves an appropriate hourly wage because prices can get very high, if you do. I would still recommend not underpaying yourself, because if lots of people sell very cheap bracelets, the prices will only continue to lower and it would not be worth selling bracelets anymore. |

I’ll be honest it depends on your market(who you want to sell to) and also halokiwi said it depends on material cost and time spent making the bracelet. One thing I will say is I don’t think the average person would pay more than $5 for a bracelet, especially if it is for their kid. At festivals, farmers markets, and other events it’

**sent before I finished** I think it could be possible to price them $10 and above because of the type of people who attend those events. They seemingly understand better the value of your time and effort. Also be prepared for some people to try and barter with you to bring the price down. Good luck hope it works out and you are successful!!

Okay thats really great advice @GraceWest and @halokiwi which is MUCH appreicated, I plan on selling them at a local craft sale so the people may be more willing. I’m planning between $4 and $7 depending on the bracelet and will definitely make it open to bargaining! Thank you for your help!!!!

Also, I think the prices should depend mostly on the time spent making them, as halokiwi mentioned. For example, alpha bracelets should be priced higher since they take up more time than normal patterns plus they use up more material. Both normal and alpha patterns should be priced on difficulty and time though. Hope this made sense and will help!
