I think so, but it’s definitely easier with an even number threads and I’ve found that for thicker bracelets doing a teardrop will distort the bracelet. For thick bracelets there is a way of doing the loop with two triangle ends that looks very similar to a teardrop and doesn’t distort the bracelet.

For the Continuous Teardrop Loop, as well as even number of threads for each colour, you also need to look at the pattern because it limits you to what colour loop you'll be doing. With a regular Teardrop Loop you can choose any colour within the bracelet, but with a Continuous Teardrop Loop it limits you to whatever colour(s) cross each other in the middle of the pattern - as those two strings you will make the loop with will be in the center at the end of the loop process.

I’ve experienced difficulty doing the continuous teardrop loop for every bracelet. There’s a ton of other techniques such as triangle ends that may work better! I think it’s a personal preference though!
