How long does it take you to make a bracelet?

I just started getting back into bracelet making. I am making a normal chevron (real basic) right now. Two hours of tying with segment knotting, and I'm not even close to being done. How long does it take you to make a normal or an alpha? I need reassurance because I'd like to sell them, but I'm not sure if I am knotting too slow. Thanks, Meg |

Making bracelets takes a long time. Alphas take longer than normals. Patterns with more strings take longer than patterns with less strings. Patterns that are easy to segment knot take shorter than patterns that can't be easily segment knotted. There are many factors on which it depends on how long it takes. |

Let’s see here less than 4 strings 1 hour or less (all of these are normal patterns) 5-8 strings 3 hours 9-12 1 day (on and off) 13-20 a week 20-50 multiple months that’s just how long it takes me

Thanks! My knotting is pretty comparable then to you. That reassures me as my 10 string bracelet is quite literally taking me all day to do 😄

really just depends on how much time you have to put into it if that makes sense? If I work on it a lot it usually takes me 1-2 days to finish a 16-20 strand normal, but if I don’t have a lot of motivation it can take a few weeks. Alpha’s are more complex especially when you factor in color changes and the amount of strings. I wouldn’t stress whatever pace works works! Good luck!!
