how do you get good at segment knotting

to start out, i found it helpful to print the pattern out and use a pencil to mark the segments i want to tie

When you are learning to segment knotting, I suggest finding patterns that would be easier to segment knotting, such as patterns with a lot of straight lines of color. This can help you learn, and then you can do other patterns from there

Start with patterns with arrow heads and that have a lot of knots going into the same direction. Masha knots and Alex’s Innovations also have great videos to help learn how to segment knot
