Where to Start with Alphas?

I have started to try alphas, but it’s not going great. I have watched the Masha Knots tutorial for alphas, and I will probably watch it again. So, any tips for Alpha beginners?

Start with small patterns. I would say less than 20 base strings. Also make sure you count your base strings

My first couple alpha’s didn’t go that great either and I also watched many videos about them. However if you keep practicing you’ll eventually get the hang of it. And make sure the pattern is less than 5 colours and there’s not too much colour switches in one row. And I think it’s normal to expect to do better on your first try but it’s okay if you mess up a little because you’re still learning.
