I've been doing alphas for a while and right now I'm doing #46958. It's really hard to keep up with the frequent color changes and the order of the base strings., especially when i keep skipping strings. What should I do?

If you’re a beginner starting alphas, I would recommend printing out the pattern before you start, then marking it up, circling color changes, etc. It’ll be easier to cut the amount of strings you need that way. When you’re knotting, try to keep the base strings spread out so that it’s not confusing as to which base string is which. Whenever you’re finished with a row, cross it out so you know you’ve finished. Hope this helps!
