how to do triangle ends on a pattern that doesn’t have a “v” or triangle?

Hi I’m doing a 1212 normal pattern and want to finish it with triangle ends. Would this be possible since it’s not a chevron based pattern?

it is possible! just take whatever v segment you'd like to end with in your pattern and make the knots. you can finish w triangle ends like normal, taking the second string from left or right and fb/bf knotting it onto the last string. then take the third and go onto the previous 2, etc.
