@4reeel if you want the pattern to be a specific size, then you can enter the dimensions into the "max width" and "max length" tabs at the bottom of the generator page. This will squish the image a bit, and you most likely will need to edit it in the "draw alpha" tab at the top of the page. Otherwise, you can use a different app or website that allows you to resize and specify the size of your image, and then save it as a png and reupload it to the generator.

If you mean the image you're trying to use is setting off the "image is too big" alert, you can use an online image re-sizer to combat that. I looked some up, and this one:imageresizer.com looks good to me. It has instructions when you scroll down a bit. You can check the size of the original image by looking at it in the file manager, either by changing the view option to details, or by hovering over it, and looking at what is says under dimensions. When you're changing the image size, make sure "lock aspect ratio" is ticked, as that will keep the ratio between the length and width of the image the same, and will prevent the image from warping. It's ticked by default on the re-sizer I linked, so just make sure not to un-tick it. I unfortunately don't know what the maximum size for an image is for use in the generator, but I'm sure one of the mods would be happy to answer that question if you ask them. Hope this helps. |
