How do you make your bracelets stiff? Whenever people post their bracelets, they look so stiff. https://i.pinimg.com/474x/46/fa/1a/46fa1a79370e2cfbbf8c90bd8436f1fc.jpg When I hold my bracelets like this, they flop. How do I make them stiffer? |

It’s consist in of a lot of practice, but my tip is to try to knot all of your knots with the same tension, that helps a lot!

Do you think that's something that just comes with practice? I've been making bracelets for a while now but they still have their flaws.

If you make tighter knots, the bracelet will be stiffer. If you make looser knots, the bracelet will be floppier. |

As @halokiwi has also said, make your knots tighter if you want your bracelets stiffer. In my experience, very tight knots aren't good because your bracelets may get cracked and look weird. There's a perfect tension that comes with a lot of practice, that's my advice.

like @AlmaLlama said, the perfect tension comes after practice. it took me many knots to finally find my tension that wasn’t too loose or too tight, to make my bracelet just the right stiffness. i think everyone’s tip would be to practice-a LOT.

Yes, all of the responses are fabulous! Make the knots tighter and uniform, the same size if possible! One time I went swimming with a friendship bracelet on and it became floppy so also maybe try to avoid your bracelet from water sometimes. But yeah tighter knots help a ton, and that comes with practice! Sometimes mine are TOO tight and lean to one side lol, but I just stretch it out and it’s all good 🙂 😁 hope this helped!
