I had the same problem on that same pattern. I’m going to make it again but have those threads longer than the black threads

Yeah it’s confusing because it makes you think that you need longer black thread because there are more black knots but you don’t because there are 4 black threads

Since there are four black strings, you can also make a bf or fb knot between one black string that you notice is running out faster and one black string that is still long. This way you switch the strings around and the longer string will now be used up faster.

If you do this bracelet again, I'd estimate that you need about 120cm for B and C, 78cm for the first two strings of colour A and 62cm for the last two strings of colour A.
