I’ve had this app for a few days now and it has been great, however, I am struggling to find a search bar and I no longer think there is one. Does it exist???

You click the toggle symbol on the top right. There you can enter into 'keywords' what you are looking for. Click the toggle symbol again and it should load the patterns.
