single columns on alphas

Whenever I do a column of a single colour on alphas, the base string that the column is on always gets tugged underneath the other strings and I can’t see it anymore, and it looks all crooked and wonky once the column ends. Is there any way to fix this?

Are you using the flat alpha technique? I'm not sure, if it would fix your issue, but I definitely recommend using it. It's always useful, when having columns of individual colours.
