I don't like making alpha patterns because I think it can get very confusing when you have so many different colors and you have to keep moving them over, and I think normal patterns are so much easier. However, I like alpha patterns with little animals and disney princesses and other similair things, and was wondering if anyone knows any normal patterns with little pictures/objects in them that are under 18 strings. Sry if that is confusing.

Yeah, there are quite a few patterns like this. The best way I can offer you to look for them is by going to the patter section of the site, make sure the pattern type is set to normal, and the string number is to your liking, then insert the keywords for what you want the pattern to have in it.Here is 18 strings or less with animals, for example: https://www.braceletbook.com/patterns/?type=n&strings-to=18&keywords=+animal There are some really cute ones on there. You can look for any kind of thing you want. |

I have a quick question. I noticed in the pattern it says there are 10 base strings but on the printout, there is 9, is there a reason there is an extra string?Thank you, |

@Kilia3694 So the base strings of a pattern will include the base strings of the actual bracelet plus the string you use to knot on top of the base strings. For your pattern, there are 9 base strings as well as the one that is actually making the knots, so it will show the pattern as having 10 base strings. I know it can be a little confusing sometimes 🙂

@Kilia3694 This is assuming that you are looking at an alpha pattern. If you are looking at a normal pattern, I have no idea with it would be different.

The 1-2-1-2 patterns are normals but have the aspect of alphas. You can go at "Patterns" and search with the keyword 1212.https://www.braceletbook.com/patterns/?keywords=1212 |
