Hello,I am trying to submit a variation I made to the site and it keeps telling me to do “e=f” but I don’t know where I’m supposed to put that. Please help! Thank you, blackcat79 |

It means that colour e (fifth colour) and colour f (sixth colour) are too similar. You need to make them more different. You can also check out this tutorial https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/140_normal-pattern-warnings-and-how-to-fix-them/ |

I meant to change them to the same color, how do I do that?

Are making a variation for a normal, or an alpha?

What's the full warning? It won't ask you to make two colors more similar. If you're trying to make two areas that were originally different colors into the same color, it won't let you do that, since that would count as a change to the structure of the design, and not just the colors.

It is not possible to merge colours in alpha variations. That is only possible in normal variations.

You can use the colour code 333333 as a substitute for black, but you do need to make the two colours different from each other.

Got it. For the sake of clarity in reading the different patterns on the site, the generator doesn't allow the use of very dark colors, including black. Try making these colors lighter, as well as more distinct. The tutorial that was linked earlier should have the hex code of the darkest color the generator allows, try using that one.

Good luck! Also, for the future, if you want to answer to a specific person, you can tag them like this -> @EggMan. That way, they get a notification that they were tagged, and know to come read your answer.
