Hi, i saw that other people are making perfectly flat andfabric-like alphas, meanwhile i do the same and my alpha is i don't even know how to describe it.. the knots aren't straight it just don't look as good as others. It is kinda bumpy even though i tighten my knots. I wish i could add picture of it. (Also sorry for any mistakes, english is not my first language) |

idk if this answers your question, but looser knots might help 🙂 try not to pull your strings from one end to another. Maybe if you post a picture under the pattern you use (it shows on your profile) we could refer to it and maybe have better tips 🙂
