somehow ended up with 2 extra strings in my normal pattern because I accidentally added 2 extra strings instead of 1 using straight edge technique. Is it safe to just cut off the 2 extra strings...? or what shall i do in this situation?

I just cut them off if I haven't already knotted onto them. It might slip out of the tie but that's never happened for me

you can still do the straight edge technique with 2 strings ๐ just do your backward forward knots and forward backward knots over both strings at once

@lynx123 made two triangle start..on the one triangle on left there is one string and the other one is in the other side of the triangle...it's the same on the second triangle too, i kinda messed up..
