I use mostly embroidery floss, some that I got off Amazon for very inexpensive, and then others are DMC. I have also started using perle cotton thread.

I buy embroidery thread from Hobby Lobby or Walmart, depending on what I need and where I'm at

I use embroidery thread. I’ll usually order 4 packs with fifty thread at a time so I have a decent amount of each color, and then I also order Black and White thread packs separately.

@jelidrink0 I use Loops and Threads (from Michaels), DMC (It can be expensive but it's worth it for certain colors), MIRA from Amazon (get lots of thread for cheap and good quality), and iris (from hooby lobby). DMC is also good for sparkly thread (they have a type of thread called etoile which is really expensive but worth it) Also sometimes the thread on amazon is bad quality so watch out, one time I bought a pack of black string on amazon and the quality was so bad I had to throw it out. Definitely check out your local craft store most if not all brands sold there are pretty good. ❤️ |
