Hello guys,I am just falling in love with knotting. I only wanted to make a butterfly keychain and found an alpha pattern and learned how this works. And now I see soooooo many great bracelets! But I actually don't want to make bracelets... So I am thinking what to use the patterns for. I bet you have more ideas because the people here don't do nothing but knotting ๐ I always want to make something that I could *use*... ๐ - bracelets - keychains - bookmarks - a toy for my cats ๐๐ What else? |

I have a few ideas You can make small bags, cupholders (that thing that protects your table I am not sure if it's the right word)) wall hangings Book sleeves Or you can make something to sow it onto your clothes either to cover up holes or to make it look better Scrunchie style Hair ties Pen holder A small box Belt Guitar strap Watch bands A lanyard to hang your keys around the neck or from your belt holes |

I've made a chapstick holder keychain for my girlfriend and one shoe lace for myself.Other things I've seen on here are: collars for pets carpets for doll houses (@meowboy has some really cool patterns for that: https://www.braceletbook.com/patterns/?added-by=meowboy&keywords=rug) (I've also made a pattern of the magic carpet from Aladdin: #51010) cubes (for example #96397 #83302 #117608 #83322 #83119) earrings |

Maybe this isn't helpful but I just collect the bracelets in a bag. I love taking them out and looking at my entire collection. Since I don't use them for any specific purpose, it doesn't matter what length they end up being and I don't have to fuss with the ends to make them work for something specific.

Oh, there are some really cool ideas - the most of them I would never use. ๐ People are different ๐Book sleeve sounds great, but a whole lot of work, I would rather crochet that. Belts and lanyards, this could be for me. A lanyard was my actual plan with my butterfly recently, but as it takes soooo much time and even more meters of string, I decided to make a small keychain. ๐ ๐ ๐ |
