hi! iโm starting with alphas bracelet (not key chains, i mean typical hand bracelets) and i have important question, how long should i cut my base strings? iโm always struggling with that, iโm scared of cutting them to short but at the other hand i also donโt want to waste much string so i donโt want them to be to long (: thank you in advance for all the answers!๐

The base strings need to be the length of the bracelet plus some extra for ties. The specific length depends on the size of your wrist.If you want to tie a certain amount of rows, you can calculate how long a specific amount of rows will be by checking how long a certain amount of rows is in an alpha you've made previously and then using that to calculate. |
