I am new here and don't know about bracelet making , I have been following YouTube tutorials for bracelet making but I want to try making bracelet using patterns posted here but I don't know what should be the length of the threads for that specific pattern please help me.

For a normal pattern, I will generally cut my threads 1 meter/40 inches in length (double that if making a loop). If the string does a lot of knotting in the pattern I will also add a bit of extra length to start. For an alpha, I generally cut my base strings at about 50 centimeters/20 inches (again doubling if making a loop). I generally won't cut my leading string and work with it from a bobbin and then only cut when I'm done with the colour.

usually, i cut the threads to be about the length of my arm. That usually works.This is a bit more advanced, but if you can see that one color is used a lot more than the others, you should cut that string longer. |
