I am used to working on my school computer to make patterns, but it would prob be more convenient to use my phone. How do I actually make patterns on my phone?

You can't make patterns on the app, only on the website. You will need to use the website on your phone. It works almost the same on a phone and a computer. On a phone, instead of right-clicking, you need to just click longer.
