I keep doing the knots correctly, but I can't see the heart 😭. any tips? I've never done a lace pattern before, not counting the famous daisy chains

Make sure that you leave gaps between the knots where it tells you to leave gaps. Can you see any of the gaps in your bracelet?Could you maybe set a picture of your bracelet as your profile picture, so it's easier to judge where the issue might be. |

halokiwi, thats the problem. im following the pattern but it keeps on closing the gaps or making them uneven

You have to be really careful when making the knots. Don't pull the first half of the knot all the way up like you usually would. When making the second half of the knot, make sure, the knot really is where you want it to be.

Pull the first half of the knot up to where you want it to be. Then make the second half.It might be a bit tricky at first, but if you hold tension on your strings, you should be able to hold the first half in place until you make the second half. |
