I am a very new newbie. How do I download a pattern?

Are you using the app or a browser? I usually print a pattern when I want to make it. When you click on "print" the pattern will open up in a new window maybe you can save it from there?

If you are on mobile, screenshot the pattern or if you hold down for like a second it should say “save pattern in photos”. Mine always doesn’t work but it might work for you. If you’re on the website then I would two finger click no maybe it’d say save as image or copy it? I don’t use the website too much though. Or if you’re talking about saving it add it to your todos.

@emilyyy307 on the website you can't save patterns as images, but you can take screenshots or print the pattern.
