hello ! im trying to crochet #118607 and I was wondering if there's a way to carry the yarn but also make it clean? because when i try to carry a different color of the yarn, it's visible and not well hidden. idk if i should buy thicker yarn (im using medium 4 acrylic yarn) or change hooks. if anyone has any tips pls lmk ! thank you!!

I would recommend maybe searching on youtube for a "tapestry crochet tutorial" as it should show you how to carry the yarn neatly, i'll link one below that looked pretty good. Going down a hook size may help keep it a little neater but i'm not sure, what size are you using at the moment? In general though i think it can just take a lot of practice to be able to switch colours and make it look as seamless as possible, i personally struggle a lot with the same issue as you but i've found i got better at it over time.
