How do I pull a smaller pattern out of a big one?

I am not a newbie, speaking I have made bracelets for the past 2 and a 1/2 years, but I have never made a smaller pattern out of a bigger pattern. An example of this is pattern #31113, I have small ideas on how to do this but I would rather not waste string by messing it up or fraying the string. Thank in advance! 😊

Are there certain characters you’d like? I can just send you a picture with them in it. In the future though, you can always screenshot the ones you want or use the generator, Microsoft Excel, or graph paper and makers to draw out the pattern. That way you can change the colors or anything else you may not like and it’s easier to see how many strings you need.

What I've done in the past is open the generator and the pattern in two separate tabs on my computer and copy the part of the pattern I want into the generator. If you don't feel like taking the time to do that, you could try printing the pattern out and cut the part(s) out with scissors that you want to make.

@BeadGirl16 Thanks! I am very impatient so I might as well just cut them. Lolz. I appreciate the response! 😄

@KaNoodle you’re welcome! I’m not sure how I would go about sending a picture on here though(if you still need one)😅

@mel315 Oof. I did not think about that! Are you able to delete a photo after posting it to the attached pattern? If so we can set a time where I can screenshot the pattern! Otherwise, it is a-okay! Thanks! 😄 😂

@KaNoodle I don’t know if they’ll accept that. I can just post it on my Twitter and put the link here?
