The little side thing on the bracelets

Okay i know the title of this question is bad but when i look at one of the bracelets there’s that little tab that sticks out in the directions. And um how do i tie that into the bracelet?!! I know i probably just confused you and you have no idea what I’m talking about but if you do… help!!!!

@emo_reader If you are referring to the little things that stick out the side of the even numbered rows, you don’t tie any knots there. You just simply just ignore them. If this doesn’t make any sense, just look up how to read patterns on YouTube.
